Force Of Nature
The Force of Nature team were in the field for three years to make the series. In order to film how animals were coping with today's wilder weather, the team had to put up with some spectacular weather - mega monsoons, raging wildfires, unprecedented droughts, marine heatwaves, hurricanes and even tornadoes. With the help of some of the world's scientists, the crew were able to film some extraordinary examples of animals fighting back, adapting and digging deep to overcome what is fast becoming the new normal. In this episode, we turn the camera on the extraordinary people who are dedicating their lives to helping the animals cope with today's extreme weather. From the elephant scientist negotiating with palm oil plantations to allow Bornean elephant safe passage, to the team of Indian wildlife protection officers who rescue and relocate precious snow leopards. All around the world, people are making small changes which make a world of a difference. These are their stories.
